Hollon Roofing is owned by Bret Hollon, a long-time resident of Greenville, Texas. Bret began working in the roofing business in 1980 while working his way through college at East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas (now Texas A&M University-Commerce). He and his partner, also a college student, took their tools to school and were on a roof somewhere in Hunt County or the surrounding counties as soon as they finished class working many afternoons until dark. Those days were long, hot, and tiring but in 1983 Bret earned his BBA in Finance. He started a career as a mortgage banker in Greenville, Texas, married, and continued working his roofing business as a second job to support his growing family.

Over the years, Bret has maintained his roofing business in Hunt and surrounding counties and added other business experiences to his resume including building many custom homes and working as a mortgage loan broker. In 2009, after the devastation in Galveston by Hurricane Ike, Bret became a licensed catastrophic storm adjuster. Over the past 15 years, Bret has been licensed in 14 states working primarily hurricane, wind, and hail claims and has inspected thousands of roofs across the Midwest, East Coast, and Gulf Coast. This has given him a volume of experience and knowledge with insurance claims which most roofers do not have. Bret currently is focusing on expanding his roofing business to cover all of Northeast Texas specifically targeting Rockwall, Royse City, Caddo Mills, Greenville, Emory, Sulphur Springs, and Commerce.
